About SmartphonesNetwork
Independent UK smartphone reviews, comparisons and deal tracking.
SmartphonesNetwork is an independent publication covering smartphones for a UK audience. We publish device reviews, side-by-side specification comparisons, buying guides and news about launches and pricing. The site launched in 2026 and is run as an independent project rather than by a large publisher.
What we cover
Our focus is the part of the market most people actually buy from: mid-range and value flagship phones, SIM-only contracts, and the deals that make a good phone cheaper. We are less interested in reviewing the most expensive device of the year than in answering the question "which of these should I actually buy?"
How we research
- Specifications are compiled from manufacturer documentation and cross-checked against reputable published sources.
- Comparisons are generated from a maintained specification database, so the same fields are compared consistently between devices.
- Pricing is checked against UK retailers at the time of writing. Prices move constantly, so we always tell readers to confirm the live price before buying.
- News articles cite their sources and clearly separate confirmed facts from rumour and expectation.
Our bylines
Our articles are published under consistent editorial bylines rather than individual staff names. Editorial responsibility for everything on this site rests with SmartphonesNetwork, and any question about a specific article will reach the editorial team via our contact page.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. If you spot a factual error, an out-of-date price, or a specification that does not match the manufacturer, email accounts@infonestdigital.co.uk and we will fix it. Substantive corrections are noted on the page.
How we make money
We use affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This never determines our verdicts — we recommend the phone we believe is right for the reader, including when that is the cheaper option or when the answer is "wait". Full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.
